PVT series rotary lobes vacuum pumps [ News ]
The PVT are rotary lobe vacuum pumps, lubrication free and maintenance free. This is possible because there is no friction between the rotating parts and the housing, so there is no need for oil lubrication like in the normal sliding vanes vacuum pumps. One of the most important consequences is that these pumps do not emit oil mist in the atmosphere, granting a clean operation and a environment friendly machine. The PVTs do not require auxiliary cooling because those have a built in air-injection system (fresh air from outside is sucked into the compression chambers, cooling the pump inside) that allows continuous operation, at a wide range of speeds.
The lobe's special profile and the skilled machining precision of the rotating & static parts, grants high volumetric efficiency, resulting to high and improved general performances : vacuum rate (92%) - maximum pressure of 2 bar absolute. The PVTs are designed to meet the requirement of every single installation, thanks to their very light weight (compared to sliding vane pump of the same capacities), and their relatively small dimensions. Furthermore there is the possibility to order these pumps with horizontal suction/exhaust ports as well as vertical, clockwise or counter clockwise rotation.
Special noise debating solutions are available for industrial applications as well as for truck mounted equipments for dry or liquid waste suction. The silenced unit is equipped with an internal filter for injection, a non-return valve, four-way valve (to change from vacuum to pressure), aluminium manifolds and fine filter for suction.

DL series
Volumetric vacuum lobe pump, lubrication-free, cooled by air injection.
Built-in vacuum/pressure changeover valve, non-return valve, injection valves, and swivelling inlet/outlet and injection manifolds, made of aluminium.
A wide range of accessories are available, like silencers, air in-take filter, safety valves, primary and secondary shutoffs, alarm buzzer to monitor overheating. The work-speed is either 600 or 1000 Rpm. These pumps are designed to be mounted on medium and large size tankers as well on industrial stationary plants. The pump operates without contact between rotors and housing, and consequently does not need lubrication, nor does it wear-off or emit oil mist. The maximum reachable vacuum is 85% and the maximum pressure is 2 bar absolute.
